Desta Taye-Channell is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. She
brings over twelve years of counseling experience and is passionate about the development
of "self". Her counseling experience covers adolescents/family, couples, women’s issues

In addition to her counseling, Desta has developed a curriculum she refers to as
S.C.U.L.P.T.I.N.G., which is specifically designed to guide individuals through a journey
of self-awareness. Her desire for this curriculum is to assist individuals to live intentional
lives that align with their personally defined life purpose and desires. She also provides a
variety of workshops that provide simple but useful tools in areas of crisis management,
personal conflict resolution, and boundaries. Her love for groups has grown out of her
experience from leading small groups, retreats and a variety of support groups.
